As a proudly Canadian company, we own and operate an independent ERW steel pipe mill in Edmonton, AB, intentionally designed to rapidly respond to customers’ changing project supply needs. We continually maintain industry-leading inventory levels of standard-length pipe, as well as hot-rolled coil – ready to go!
Driven Piles
Driven piles perform exceedingly well in North America as they are well suited to diverse ground conditions.
Helical Piles
Helical piles can be used for most applications and offer significant benefits. They can be installed quickly, then cut, capped and used immediately.
Sheet Piles
Steel is the most common type of sheet piling used for retaining wall systems. The advantages of steel sheet piling include: increased strength and durability, ample availability, and it can be reused.
The mill
Our 41,000 square foot steel processing shop is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to meet diverse fabrication needs. Key features include:
- A 20’ x 70’ CNC plasma flat steel processing table capable of cutting up to 62mm (2.5”) plate.
- A high-output plate press that can precision press plates up to 5” thick.
- A CNC pipe profiling and bevelling system for accurate and efficient processing.
- A 10-station CWB certified welding shop utilizing SAW, MCAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes.
- A CNC vertical mill, boring mill, and lathe machine shop supporting precision manufacturing of structural components.
SUPPLY CHAIN & INVENTORY
At Marcus Pipe, we pride ourselves on our robust supply chain and extensive inventory, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality materials promptly. Our Edmonton, AB ERW Tube Mill is capable of rolling A252 Grade 3 pipe from 114mm (4”) to 406mm (16”) in diameter with wall thicknesses up to 12.7mm (1/2”).
We predominantly source our hot-rolled coil from North American steel and coil producers, which allows us to maintain short lead times. Our 60-acre storage and logistics terminal in Edmonton holds a substantial inventory of 20,000 tons, ready to ship or process, including piling pipe, helical pilings, sheet piles, H-piles, and plate steel.
Our direct connection to the DFI rail spur and siding, serviced by CN, ensures efficient transportation and delivery.
